Survey of Music: Students will learn the foundational elements of music theory, as well as explore the use of music technology to create their own songs with fidelity. Students will also learn music history from a culturally relevant perspective, focusing on how music and culture intersect throughout history.

ACCE Student Band: A small after school band that focuses on improving musical literacy, learning to sing/play in groups, and performing for various school events across the school!

This marks my 7th year teaching! I was previously at James Mosher Elementary, and before that at the Baltimore School for the Arts. I am passionate about providing my students with opportunities to express themselves through creating their own music. In addition to teaching, I also perform regularly in Maryland and abroad. Outside of music, I enjoy watching (and talking) sports! #GoSteelers
