Hello! My name is Megan Gammill and my pronouns are she/her. I am a member of the science and special education departments. I currently teach Physics, but have also taught chemistry and biology at ACCE. The 2020 - 2021 school year marks my third year at ACCE and my eighth year teaching. In previous years I taught Life Skills, Algebra I, and Geometry.
I graduated from Salisbury University in 2008 where I received dual Bachelor's degrees in Social Work and Sociology. I went on to earn my Master of Art in Teaching Special Education from The College of Charleston in 2013.
My hobbies are varied. I have an active lifestyle which includes hiking, swimming, and working out. I recently started gardening and am hoping to grow native plants. I also love traveling. Most recently I went to Cabo Verde, an archipelago off the north west coast of Africa. I am planning a trip to the southern tips of Chile and Argentina and the Faulkland Islands.
