ACCE Family Cookbook
This year, we will be celebrating the diversity in ACCE family cultures with our first annual “ACCE Eats” cookbook! This month we will kick off Hispanic Heritage month by requesting traditional Latin American cuisine. Our ACCE Family Cookbook has launched!

Virtual Cooking Class
8 October Time to Cook!
On Thursday, October 8th, join us for the Virtual Cooking Demonstration of a Hispanic dish 5:30pm.
If you would still like to participate, you will need access to a stove, oven and blender. The ingredients needed for the evening are
1 can of condensed milk
4 eggs
5 tablespoons of dry milk
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of vanilla
1/2 cup flour
3 tbsp of sugar

Career Panel
14 October 5:30 - 6:30pm
Learn from a variety of local Hispanic professionals at our virtual Career Panel on Wednesday, October 14th, from 5:30-6:30pm. There will be opportunities to listen, ask questions, and create new connections.

Calle Ocho Festival
4 October 7:00pm
The event’s organizers, the Kiwanis of Little Havana, describe the Calle Ocho Festival as a three-hour “extravaganza” that unites great Latino artists, as the festival has done for four decades.
There will also be live cooking contests, as well as social media influencers and entertainers sharing their experiences. Calle Ocho Live will be streamed on the Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter pages of Kiwanis of Little Havana Carnaval Miami.

Hispanic Heritage Foundation hosts Charlas all month. Speakers with diverse backgrounds and interests each have five minutes to present about anything they would like. https://hispanicheritage.org/
