I am going into my 17th year working in education, and this is my 13th year I’m Baltimore City Public Schools. I started my teaching career as an adjunct English professor at a community college in Western PA before moving to Baltimore in 2010. In Baltimore City, I taught my first four years at WEB DuBois High School, the next 4 at Patterson High School, 1 year at Baltimore School for the Arts, and I am beginning my fourth year here at ACCE. At ACCE, I have taught AP Language and Composition, SAT Verbal Prep, Creative Writing, and CRD. I am currently in my second year as the middle school’s Literacy Interventionist. In my spare time, I love to hang out with my wife (she teaches at Douglass), my two dogs (Birdie and Luna), and my cat (Ruby). I read a lot. I garden a lot. I teach a lot.
